I didn’t have time to watch Shrouding the Heavens but I heard Fatty is not a popular character there. Here Fatty and Lunar Jade Rabbitare Shi Hao’s loyal diehard buddies! It’s impossible to hate them here.

No, chronologically PW comes first, then StH is set a few millions of years later followed by another few millions years in Sacred Ruins. It’s like a trilogy if you wish. The author wrote StH first, that’s why PW in everyone’s minds has a shitty ending because the author could no longer change the settings.

I didn’t read StH but each story can stand on its own. So you don’t have to read all three to have a sense of closure. In fact, I regretted reading Sacred Ruins because the author forcefully equalised all three MCs to the same level and what is worse, the MC of SR is the least popular and likeable. Shi Hao and Ye Fan have very little significance in SR and only appear intermittently and in the finale.

So the author tried to do the same done by the author of Xiao Yan, Lin Dong and the guy from Great Ruler (forgot his name) since they on the same power at the end of the book even though GR guy achieved it 27 years before XY and LD. I guess we’ll see once they animate the other book, I doubt I’ll read though 😅 school is too hectic for me to read a book with 1000+ chapters or more.
